Cisco Catalyst Switch WS-C3850-24S
The Cisco Catalyst 3850 Series provides capabilities that are ideally suited to support the convergence of cable and wireless access. The new Integrated Application Specific Circuit (ASIC) of Cisco Unified Access Data? Plano (UADP) feeds the switch and allows the application of uniform wireless wiring policies, application visibility, flexibility and application optimization. This convergence is based on the recovery capacity of the new and improved Cisco StackWise? -480 technology.
Cisco Catalyst 3850 Series switches are compatible with IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE), Cisco Universal Power Over Ethernet (Cisco UPOE?), Modular and replaceable network modules in field, RJ-45 and downlink interfaces based on fiber, and redundant fans and power supplies.
